Meet Tasha

 

Tasha is passionate about movement and flow, and she loves to create and facilitate joyful and connected experiences.

 

 She has a diverse movement background in solo styles such as ballet, modern dance, and social partner-dancing styles such as Salsa, Bachata, Lambada and Brazilian Zouk.

 

She began training and teaching Brazilian Zouk at DanceZouk.ch in 2021 and thereafter completed further training in Paris in 2023, officially qualifying from the "MAC Training Project" (Methodology of Alex de Carvalho). In 2025 she also gained her certification for Role Rotation Mindset from Felipe y Tiago's teacher training course.

 Moreover, she is a proud member of the Swiss Brazilian Zouk and Lambada show team: Re'Bellas. The team has performed locally in Switzerland, as well as internationally in Germany and France.

​

Within the local social-dancing community, Tasha is well-known for her bubbly nature and eagerness to dance and teach both roles (Leader and Follower), often also rotating multiple times within dances. She brings an inspiring creativity and vibrant energy to every class she teaches.

​

In 2024 Tasha achieved her teacher's certification for ContaKids - a methodology developed by Contemporary and Contact-Improvisation dancer and teacher Itay Yatuv. This method combines her passion for movement with her dedication to educating children. She loves to share this playful approach to the connection between children and their trusted adults with local families in Zurich in a warm, welcoming, and explorative environment.
